Who this policy covers

Our privacy policy covers information we collect on greatmeadowcredit.com, including the loan request form, our guides and our tools. Lenders you connect with have their own privacy policies, which govern what they do with your information.

We are a free loan-matching service, not a lender. When we say "we," "us" or "our service," we mean the operator of this website, reachable at 9390 Alder Avenue, Suite 759, Carson City, NV 89701. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here and in our terms of use.

Information we collect

We collect the details you type into the request form, technical data your browser sends automatically, and information from cookies and similar tools that help the site work and measure how it is used.

Information you give us

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, home address and date of birth.
  • Loan details: the amount you request, the purpose and how soon you need it.
  • Financial details: income source, pay frequency, estimated monthly income, housing status and, if a lender requires it to deliver funds, bank account details.
  • Identification details a lender needs to verify you, such as the last digits or full Social Security number, where requested on the form.
  • Anything you include when you email or call us.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type and operating system.
  • Pages you visit, links you click, the referring website and the time spent on each page.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Form interaction data used to prevent fraud and confirm that a real person submitted the request.

How we use your information

We use your information mainly to pass your loan request to lenders and partners that may be able to help you, and to run, secure and improve the website.

  • To match your request with lenders in our network and send it to them.
  • To contact you about your request by email, phone or text message, where you have agreed.
  • To detect fraud, verify identity and protect you, lenders and our service.
  • To measure how the site performs and fix errors.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations and respond to lawful requests.
  • To send marketing messages about financial products, if you have agreed and until you opt out.

How we share information with lenders and partners

When you submit a request, we share the information on the form with lenders, lending networks and marketing partners that may make you an offer. Sharing your request is the core function of the service.

Lenders that receive your request may verify your identity, check your credit with one or more credit bureaus and contact you directly. A lender that receives your request may keep and use your information under its own privacy policy even if you do not accept its offer, so review the lender's policy before you continue.

  • Lenders and lending networks that review requests and may make offers.
  • Service providers that host the site, deliver email and text messages, store data, prevent fraud or provide analytics, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
  • Legal and safety recipients such as regulators, courts or law enforcement when the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
  • A buyer or successor if our business is sold, merged or reorganized, subject to this policy.

Lenders and partners may pay us for requests. Our advertiser disclosure explains how that works.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels and similar tools to keep the form working, remember your progress, prevent fraud, measure traffic and understand which pages and partners lead to completed requests.

  • Essential cookies keep the site and request form running and secure.
  • Analytics cookies show which pages are read and where people leave the form.
  • Advertising and attribution cookies help us and our partners understand which ads and referrals lead to requests.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the request form from working. Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where state law requires it.

Your choices

You can opt out of marketing emails, stop text messages, ask us to stop calling and request access to or deletion of the information we hold, subject to legal limits.

  • Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Reply STOP to any text message.
  • Ask a caller to place you on our internal do-not-call list.
  • Email [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion.

Opting out with us does not stop lenders that already received your request from contacting you. Contact those lenders directly to opt out of their messages.

How we protect your information

We protect your information with encrypted connections, access controls, limited employee access and service providers bound by confidentiality and security terms. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep request data only as long as we need it to provide the service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal record-keeping duties, then delete or de-identify it. Never share your password or one-time codes with anyone who contacts you claiming to be us.

California and other state privacy rights

Residents of California and several other states have rights under state privacy laws, which may include the right to know, access, correct and delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

  • Right to know and access: ask what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
  • Right to correct: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Right to delete: ask us to delete information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to opt out: tell us not to sell or share your information for cross-context advertising.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Some information collected for lending may be covered by federal financial privacy law instead of state law. To make a request, email [email protected] or call (888) 588-5738. We will verify your identity before acting, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of permission.

Children's privacy

Our service is meant for adults who can legally borrow money in their state. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 and will delete it if we learn we have.

If you believe a minor has submitted a request, email us and we will remove the information.

Changes to this policy and how to contact us

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.

Questions about privacy can go to [email protected], (888) 588-5738, or by mail to 9390 Alder Avenue, Suite 759, Carson City, NV 89701. You can also use our contact page.
